Though I am primarily a cigar box guitar builder, the ability to build guitars naturally includes

the ability to perform repairs and setups. I am happy to take on any guitar related job

and will discuss it with you to make sure I can accommodate your requirements.

COMMISSIONS

I can build any of my standard box guitars to your design - or you can send me your tin or box to make

into a guitar.

I will provide a full menu of options and lend input and advice on what will look good and work well.

Everything from a basic setup right through to a complete overhaul.

All setups include a full clean and a standard set of strings.

I am happy to take on jobs where you have already been told

"it's cheaper to buy a new one".

I appreciate the value of sentiment: sometimes a guitar is worth more than its price tag.

CUSTOMISATIONS

Any work you would like done to your guitar from a new pick guard to a new paint job or collage,

I'll see if I can accommodate

your request.

However, I am unfortunately not

currently able to provide

"factory" spray finishes.

Disclaimer: I will not make any

inappropriate modifications

to a valuable vintage guitar.

Cheap & Cheerful Service

Pricing Estimates:

Basic setup: £25

Repairs & Customs: £20 plus £20 per hour

(calculated pro-rata)

Commissions: £25 plus the sale value of the guitar

(based on specification)
